What's this Program about?
The Break Away Bag Program is about providing basic necessities to Domestic Abuse Victims staying at our local YWCA SafeHouse. The cost for us to put together these Bags is $35.00

- Toothbrush & Toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Hand Sanitizer
- Fuzzy Socks
- Sanitizer Wipes
- Towel & Washcloth
- Feminine Products
- "I Am A Survivor"
- Small Makeup Kit including Mascara, Lip Balm, Eyeshadow, Eyeliner, Nail Polish, Pocket Brush/Mirror and Pedicure Set
Many times it is impossible to foresee when the best time to escape an abusive situation will be. It is always recommended to try to have a Safety Plan in place, as leaving can be extremely stressful and dangerous when a victim tries to escape without assistance.
We hope to give the Survivors seeking assistance just a small peace of mind to know that we have the basics covered; especially because so many escape with just the clothes on their backs.
